NHS Highland CEO, Elaine Mead, and her Leadership Team, have enthusiastically welcomed the proposal to implement the AWS Standard at Caithness General, the first healthcare facility worldwide, and first UK site in any sector, to seek AWS certification. As part of our ongoing commitment to achieve a single global water stewardship system we recently delivered a joint training session with our partners from the European Water Stewardship System. This three-day event in Brussels also enabled several specialist service providers to meet the training requirements for AWS accreditation, thereby helping boost the AWS system capacity in Europe....

On Tuesday 4 April, the first workshop for the implementation of the AWS Standard with producers in Spain will take place. The workshop is part of the AWS-WWF-EDEKA cooperation to implement the AWS Standard in supply chain production sites in water stressed locations around the world. AWS, Edeka and WWF-Germany established by a Memorandum of Cooperation in 2016.
