The AWS Water Stewardship prize seeks to recognise commitment and innovation by individuals in pursuit of the AWS mission, to lead a global network that promotes responsible use of freshwater that is socially and economically beneficial and environmentally sustainable. The prize is awarded to individuals rather than organisations. AWS Members are able to nominate individuals for the prize. Nominations should be made using the form below. The closing date for nominations is Friday 21 April 2023.

About the assessment process: Upon receipt of nominations, a three-person judging panel from AWS Staff and Board will review the nominations and score each individual out of ten based on the following criteria: 1) Promotion of AWS water stewardship; 2) Supporting the uptake of the AWS Standard; 3) Driving forward water stewardship through knowledge and learning; 4) Enabling growth in the AWS System (actively engaging with AWS to enhance good practice); and 5) Evidence of collaboration to share knowledge, promote understanding of water stewardship and enable water stewardship activity.
