AWS strongly recommends that implementers of the AWS Standard work with AWS Accredited Service Providers and Professionally Credentialed Individuals.
We accredit three types of service providers: Consultancies, Conformity Assessment Bodies (CABs) and Trainers. Individuals who have undertaken AWS Standard System Training can also apply to hold their own Professional Credential and be enrolled in our Professional Credentialing System which is being rolled out in 2019 and officially launched in 2020.
The following organisations have AWS trained staff and have successfully applied to AWS for Accreditation to deliver services against the AWS Standard and AWS System:
Coming soon in 2020: AWS Professional Credentialing System
In 2020, we will be launching our AWS Professional Credentialing System. Throughout 2019, individuals who have undergone AWS Standard System Training can opt to be grandfathered in to this system. At the end of 2019, all Credentialed Individuals will take a test, commit to continual professional credentialing units and a Code of Conduct, and can then officially join the Professional Credentialing System when it goes live in 2020. This system will provide individuals with opportunities for continual professional development in line with AWS, as well as a portal through which implementers can search for Credentialed Individuals to support their water stewardship journey. If you’d like to know more about this system, please get in touch. More information will follow soon…
