Pakistan Water Stewardship Network is formed
At a ground-breaking meeting in Lahore, AWS has been instrumental in establishing the Pakistan Water Stewardship Network. This milestone was possible due to the momentum for AWS water stewardship in Pakistan, which currently has 5 sites seeking AWS certification, as well as being one of the locations for the innovative WAPRO project that AWS is partner to. Founding members of the Pakistan Water Stewardship Network are: Archroma, AWS, Bureau Veritas Pakistan, Centre of Water and Informatics and Technology at Lahore University of Management Sciences, GIZ’s International Water Stewardship Program, Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation, Nestle. Pepsico, Rice Partners Ltd, SDC, Umbrella Consulting and WWF-Pakistan.
