World Water Day 2023

What is World Water Day?

World Water Day is on 22 March every year. It is an annual United Nations Observance, started in 1993, that celebrates water and raises awareness of the over 2 billion people currently living without access to safe water. A core focus of World Water Day is to inspire action towards Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6: water and sanitation for all by 2030. To learn more, visit the official World Water Day website.

Digital toolkit for AWS Members

This day offers an opportunity for AWS members to spark conversations around water stewardship and the AWS Standard. We have compiled this toolkit along with a variety of visual assets to help our members start those conversations on their social media channels. While this toolkit has been developed specifically with Twitter and LinkedIn in mind, please feel free to adapt the sample text to fit other social media platforms.
