Comments and complaints

Your feedback about the AWS Standard, System and processes is invaluable for our team. Our promise is to give you impartial, considered and consistent responses.

Complaint management process

For all complaints, AWS will acknowledge receipt of your submission within five (5) business days.

Once the investigations are completed, AWS will share the decision with all parties. A public summary of the decision will be available upon request, barring confidential information.

For more information, download the AWS Complaints Management Procedure and the AWS Glossary of Terms.

Have your say

AWS appreciates all feedback related to the AWS System. Please keep your comments constructive, and if you feel comfortable, please provide your contact information so we can respond to you directly.

If you are submitting a complaint, please focus your concerns on either AWS or an AWS Service Provider (consultant, or trainer) and provide evidence to support your claims.

You can submit a complaint on a variety of topics, including:

  • Assurance System (including its policies and procedures)
  • Standards-setting processes
  • Unresolved appeals to CAB certification decisions
  • Membership system
  • Conduct of AWS staff or its governance structure (Technical Committee or Board members)

In addition, we welcome feedback on topics including:

  • AWS assets
  • AWS governance, staff, policies and procedures
  • AWS Standard
  • Service provider performance

Have a complaint or appeal related to certification?

Unfortunately, we cannot resolve contractual disputes between accredited service providers, including Water Stewardship Assurance Services (WSAS) and their clients. They will have their own feedback procedures in place and will need to be contacted directly.
