The Introduction to Water Stewardship training course provides a foundational understanding of water stewardship and the community and collective efforts driving it forward. It explores how water stewardship contributes to broader sustainability goals and helps businesses and their supply chains build resilience. 

This training is open to everyone and available online, either as a public training course or exclusive for your organisation. Co-delivered with two AWS Trainers, it is designed for anyone beginning their water stewardship journey or wanting a quick refresher.

Outcomes

• Build knowledge: Develop a foundational understanding of water stewardship as an approach to building resilience and addressing global water and climate crises. 
• Inspire leadership: Encourage trainees to advance best practices and drive collective action in water stewardship. 
• Foster connection: Introduce trainees to others in the water stewardship community and equip them to engage effectively. 
• Take action: Build trainees’ water stewardship competencies to prepare them to start their water stewardship journeys. 

Delivery

• Location: Online, co-delivered live by two AWS Trainers 
• Format: Blended learning, including reading materials, short fictional case study, group discussions, lectures and evaluation 
• Duration: Approx. 3.5 hours (or one half-day) 
• Group size: 12-40 trainees
• Languages: English, Spanish and Chinese (with more languages available in the future)

We request written notification of cancellation be sent by email to training@a4ws.org and must be received at least 15 days before the first day of your scheduled training.
