About the 2024 AWS Forum
The AWS Global Water Stewardship Forum is one of the key events in which our community of members, implementers and stakeholders share knowledge and learning on the evolution of water stewardship practice and forge new directions through dialogue and partnerships. Held annually since 2016 in Edinburgh, Scotland, it has become the must-attend event for the international water stewardship community.
Programme
The 2024 programme covered a range of topics, from water and climate to collective action and convergence. Key discussion topics included:
Water stewardship and the wider world
Sessions focussed on connecting water to climate action and other initiatives, and creating incentives for water stewardship through policy engagement.
Water stewardship community
Sessions focussed on convergence within the water stewardship community, including topics such as collective action, solutions and reporting systems, metrics and data for catchments, and more.
Alliance for Water Stewardship System
Sessions provided an opportunity for AWS Members and partners to engage in discussions around significant changes being made to the AWS System.
