AWS is excited to launch Version 3.0 of the International Water Stewardship Standard (AWS) on 18 March in Tokyo, Japan. The launch event will celebrate this milestone and highlight the collaboration amongst AWS Members and partners.
The event will start with a launch ceremony with opening remarks from AWS CEO Adrian Sym, followed by reflections from certified sites. There will also be a workshop that explores the new AWS Standard, what has changed from Version 2.0 and AWS certification, followed by a discussion on water stewardship opportunities in Japan.
The launch event has been planned in coordination with the Japan Water Stewardship Leadership Group (JWS). The Group was established in March 2025 with five founding members – the Coca-Cola Company (Japan), Suntory, Kurita, Yachiyo Engineering, and MS&AD Insurance Group – and WWF Japan (as an advisor). The event will be an in-person, invitation-only event held at the Suntory World Headquarters.

アライアンス・フォー・ウォーター・スチュワードシップ(Alliance for Water Stewardship, AWS）は、2026年3月18日、東京にて「国際ウォーター・スチュワードシップ規格（AWS規格）バージョン3.0」のローンチイベントを開催いたします。本イベントでは、バージョン3.0の公開という節目を祝するとともに、AWSメンバーおよびパートナーの皆さまとの協働の取り組みをご紹介します。
当日は、AWS CEOのAdrian Symによる開会挨拶から始まり、AWS認証取得サイトからのコメントを交えたローンチセレモニーを行います。続いて、AWS規格バージョン3.0の概要やバージョン2.0からの主な変更点、ならびにAWS認証についてのワークショップを行います。
本イベントは、ジャパン・ウォーター・スチュワードシップ（JWS）のご支援のもと開催いたします。JWSは2025年3月、日本コカ･コーラ、サントリーホールディングス、栗田工業、八千代エンジニヤリング、MS&ADインシュアランス グループホールディングスの5社を設立メンバーとし、WWFジャパンをアドバイザーとして発足しました。
本イベントは、サントリーワールドヘッドクォーターズにて、招待制により開催いたします。
