This seminar will examine the critical intersection of water, biodiversity and business sustainability, with a focus on practical pathways forward, including:
- Global water risk and why it matters now – a keynote from the United Nations University on how water stress connects to ecosystem health and climate change
- AWS Standard Version 3.0 – key updates and what they mean for companies beginning or advancing their water stewardship journey
- Corporate water stewardship in action – examples of global leading companies across multiple sectors making credible commitments
- Water and biodiversity in the supply chain – real experiences from the apparel and textile sector, including highlights from the H&M–WWF partnership
- Panel discussion – companies, academics and practitioners explore basin-wide collective action, stakeholder engagement strategies, and the nexus of water and biodiversity
Speakers include representatives from the United Nations University, Alliance for Water Stewardship, WWF International and WWF Japan, alongside companies sharing first-hand experiences from the field.
