The ambition behind WaterLogues is to create a space for inter-organisational dialogue. Using the convening opportunity around existing events such as the AWS Forum, World Water Week and Climate Week, WaterLogues brings the water stewardship community together for a day of thorough discussions on shared challenges and opportunities.
Built around in-depth dialogues rather than rotating hourly sessions, WaterLogues creates the space for advancing collaboration, sometimes missing from other event formats. WaterLogues will be held on Thursday, 25 June, following the AWS Forum at the same venue, the EICC. Space is limited – we strongly encourage you to register today.
Building on the conversation from the 2025 Stockholm WaterLogues, the 2026 Edinburgh WaterLogues event will focus on efforts to engage and coordinate private sector activities in the lead-up to and during the 2026 United Nations (UN) Water Conference in the UAE. The discussion will address both the formal programme and the informal private sector programme for the UN Water Conference.
Topics to be discussed include:
- Linking corporate actors with governments to facilitate private sector financing and an investment mechanism for water resilience
- Exploring how the stewardship community can support private sector involvement in country compacts
- Positioning water as a cross-cutting enabler for climate, biodiversity and the Sustainable Development Goals
Efforts will be made to coordinate with the draft programme of the Government of UAE, and emergent informal actions will also be catalogued in an effort to better coordinate the informal programme as well.
WaterLogues will be held on Thursday, 25 June, following the AWS Forum at the same venue, the EICC. Space is limited – we strongly encourage you to register today. Registration will remain open until all seats are reserved.
