Alliance for Water Stewardship
The AWS Global Water Stewardship Forum is a key event in which our community of members, implementers and stakeholders share knowledge and learning on the evolution of water stewardship practice and forge new directions through dialogue and partnerships. Held in Edinburgh, Scotland, since 2016, it has become the must-attend event for the international water stewardship community.
We look forward to welcoming participants back to Edinburgh again from 24-25 June 2025.
We are pleased to share this year’s AWS Forum programme. Sessions will feature discussions on diverse topics including water and biodiversity, collective action, and national and global policy.
Please note, this programme is subject to change. Last updated on 17 June 20255.
General registration for the 2025 AWS Forum is now closed.
Tickets are non-refundable. However, tickets may be transferred to colleagues within your organisation if you are no longer able to attend. If after registering you find that you are no longer able to attend AND you are unable to transfer your ticket, please return it as soon as possible by contacting us below, so that we may offer your place to someone else.
On Tuesday, 24 June, AWS will host a drinks reception at the Kimpton Hotel in Charlotte Square, Edinbrugh, followed by the AWS Forum Dinner at 19:00. This event is now sold out. For enquiries, please contact us.
AWS will host the inaugural WaterLogues event in Edinburgh on 26 June 2025, immediately after the AWS Forum. WaterLogues is a new event series that is a collaboration between several organisations in the water stewardship community with the primary ambition of creating a space for dialogues on important topics. Rather than a monologue, the events prioritise dialogues that drive towards tangible next steps and action. The Edinburgh WaterLogues will focus on advancing and scaling collective action.
While this event is now sold out, we will be sharing a summary of the discussion after the event for those who are interested.
AWS is pleased to announce sponsorship from from WWF, AstraZeneca, Diageo, ERM, Haleon, Inogen Alliance and Nutrien for the 2025 AWS Forum. We thank them for their support.
We would also like to thank our AWS Funding Members, Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), Apple, Azura, The Coca-Cola Company, Primark, EDEKA, Nestlé, Suntory and Unilever, for their continued support of AWS and the AWS Forum.
Opportunities to sponsor this year’s forum are still available. We are pleased to offer two levels of sponsorship, with level two offering a new benefit – an exhibit table in the reception hall. We also have an exclusive opportunity for a dinner sponsor.
Sponsorship funds will be used to contribute to the running of the event at our new larger venue to accommodate what we anticipate being a continued increase in demand. Benefits of sponsorship:
