AWS held a short webinar to introduce the AWS Claims Policy V2.0 in March 2023. The webinar covered the different types of claims that can be made by AWS Members, certified sites and others. These updates to the Claims Policy support AWS users in getting value from the AWS System and communicating their relationship with AWS in a credible way.
This guidance document provides information and insights on how best to fulfil the requirements of the Safe Water, Sanitation and Hygiene for All (WASH) Outcome of the AWS Standard V2.0.
AWS developed this guidance note to complement the definition of “Site” found in the AWS Standard V2.0. The aim of the guidance note is to specify certain types of “sites” that should not be eligible for certification because of their particular nature, as they are not compatible with the intent and objectives of the AWS Standard.
