NHS Highland CEO, Elaine Mead, and her Leadership Team, have enthusiastically welcomed the proposal to implement the AWS Standard at Caithness General, the first healthcare facility worldwide, and first UK site in any sector, to seek AWS certification. This is part of the Green Healthcare Highlands Project, exploring innovative approaches to sustainability, and is intended as a domino project to generate learning for replication at other sites in the region and potentially further afield.
